Abstract:

This post is also available in: English Slovenščina (Slovenian)

The author describes different methods employed in the treatment of warts, classifying them by their therapeutic value and frequency of use. They include the use of keratolytic agents, surgical excision, cryotherapy, application of caustic agents, x-ray, antiviral and anti-cancer medication and immunotherapy. Any form of treatment producing visible and permanent scarring should be avoided.
