Abstract:

This post is also available in: English Slovenščina (Slovenian)

Interventional uroradiology covers a wide range of minimally invasive procedures in the treatment of urological disorders. In this review article, we describe the most common procedures such as insertion of percutaneous nephrostomy and ureteric stent, percutaneous nephrolithotripsy, sclerosation of renal cyst, renal tumor embolization, and varicocele embolization. Indications, contraindications and complications are listed for each procedure.
