Some factors depend only\u00a0on the characteristics of the cancer and the patient\u00a0herself, others may be influenced by the method\u00a0of treatment. Patients with well differentiated lower\u00a0stage tumors, diploid DNA contents in tumor cells,\u00a0negative lymph node findings, total operative\u00a0cytoreduction, and improved general condition\u00a0may hope for a favorable course of disease.
