Our laboratory results were compared with the diag\u00adnoses established by physicians. The course of the illness was followed in 213 individuals who\u00adse blood samples were tested for cell immunity against <em>Borrelia burgdorferi<\/em>. All patients sho\u00adwed clinical picture compatible with <em>Borrelia burgdorferi<\/em> infection. Sixty-five of the 213 patients (30.5%) developed cellular immunity, 4 (1.9%) showed a non-specific cellular immune respon\u00adse, and 144 patients (67.6%) showed no cellu\u00adlar immune response to <em>Borrelia burgdorferi<\/em> antigens. The individuals were further divided into 5 groups by their clinical signs.
