The research was made on the basis of studies, which was in this research field already done in Slovenia and abroad in last thirty years. The research included existent studies, which evaluated the position of spine by child in late childhood. The stud\u00adies concerned purpose of the research was searched in international bibliographic bases: COBISS\/OPAC, Web of Science, PSYCInfo, SPRINGER link in PubMed. In analysis were includ\u00aded methods for measurement back symmetry or asymmetry. We found out that there exist many different measuring instruments for the evaluation position of the spine. But these instru\u00adments don&#8217;t make possibilities to diagnose incorrectness in back asymmetry in early stages.
