It includes all the drugs used and those mentioned in the\u00a0current literature as successful remedies for refractory seizures. The lidocaine as well as benzodiazepine\u00a0use is recommended during newborn period for the intractable status epilepticus\u00a0especially on the neonatal intensive care units where ventilatory support for possible\u00a0complications is easily obtainable.
