After a short deontological and law review the author points out and descibes from the medical and deontological point of view three representative examples taken out from nowadays soci\u00adety (hunger strike, surgical split of conjoined twins and patients with anorexia nervosa) whe\u00adre there is an evident disharmony between physician\u2019s perception of patients\u2019 best interests and the patients\u2019 wishes. The physician must always act in patients\u2019 best interests, observing patients\u2019 dignity and their right to make decisions regarding their health issues. The right of making decisions regarding life and death loads physicians with harder duties and respon\u00adsibilities, that exceed treatemet and force physicians to decide in\/of ethical and moral dis\u00adputable circumstances.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The article describes ethical and law dilemmas that physicians encounter nowadays.
