Treatment of Lyme Borreliosis with Antibiotics

The author delineates the main rea­sons for treating Lyme borreliosis with antibiotics and presents the appropriate choice of antibi­otic agents, which depends on clinical mani­festation of the disease. He describes the mode and length of treatment, the expected therapeutic results, the reasons for possible treatment fail­ure, and some of the many still unsolved dilem­mas in the management of Lyme borreliosis.
