Treatment of Lyme Borreliosis with Antibiotics
The author delineates the main reasons for treating Lyme borreliosis with antibiotics and presents the appropriate choice of antibiotic agents, which depends on clinical manifestation of the disease. He describes the mode and length of treatment, the expected therapeutic results, the reasons for possible treatment failure, and some of the many still unsolved dilemmas in the management of Lyme borreliosis.
