Abstract:

This post is also available in: enEnglish slSlovenščina (Slovenian)

We present a case of acute acetaminophen intoxication, which is a commonly used analgesic and antipyretic drug. It can be bought over the counter, which makes it widely available. Fast recognition and treatment are mandatory, as acetaminophen poisoning left untreated can result in a life-threatening liver disease.
