Advances in the urology

Abstract:

This post is also available in: English Slovenščina (Slovenian)

The article shows that with introduction of new, refined methods of treating urolithiasis the number of patients treated by classical procedures has been notably reduced. The dihidrotestosteron theory of the benign prostatic hypertrophy is presented, and the new conservative methods of treating this condition are outlined. The authors emphasize the therapeutic value of the new techniques of nonimplantabile and implantabile electrical stimulation of the lower urinary tract.
